OOTD : Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Saturday, January 2, 2016
Hi butters!
First post in 2016 and I wanna wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
It's been a real while since I last posted 'cause I've been busy co-assisting in a hospital in my hometown. There were so many tasks and assignments to finish, and I did get a day or two off but I just didn't get the feel to write on the blog, so no post whatsoever 'till now..

First ootd post, then. I'm currently in love with the idea of black and white and sabrina clothing pieces, so this post will have those things. Black and white are like in the neverending cycle (playing chvrches' neverending cycle, haha), they never die, they're always in and they look elegant, and sophisticated and fab together. While the sabrina kind of blouse makes an illusion of leaner arms, since I have rather big, fatty arms. My white blouse makes me feel more confident with my arms.
The blouse was tucked into a pair of black cullotes to give a neat impression. Somehow this looked casual and conservative at the same time. I love cullotes as they give me much room to move around and they're also a perfect pair to my strappy heels. To complete the look, I wore some simple accessories like the stag necklace and a silver watch.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a great 2016!

OOTD : Earth Colours

Wednesday, April 15, 2015
Hello, butters.
I'm back again with an OOTD post. Today I'm wearing my most favourite dress ever, I can't imagine living without this dress, lol. I don't remember when and where I actually bought this dress, but somehow It has become a must to-go item in my wardrobe. Keep scrolling~

What I wore :
  • Purple Knit Bolero. This outer is very wearable because the knits are loose, so i can wear it even on a hot day. It's comfortable and casual. It is also the right choice when I want to wear sleeveless pieces but not wanting to expose too much skin.
  • Floral Dress. Did I mention that this is my fave dress in the wardrobe? It kinda has this natural-earthy feels. Maybe a bit 'mori' too. This dress is really flowy and cute too.
  • White Sandals. The only pair of sandals in my possession. Sandals are to-go items when you want to achieve the lazy-casual look.
  • Mint Armcandy. A cute little thing to accessorize your outfit.
  • Black Slingbag. Really practical to wear, you can just put anything in it.
I love this kind of style, where I look so relaxed eventhough I'm actually dressed-up. Or maybe I was actually "dressing down to earth", as I picked neutral and less eye-catching colours. I enjoy wearing sandals these days, though I don't want to look sluggish in them, so I match 'em with this dress and there I got this calm and feminine 'semi' mori girl look.
What do you think about this outfit? Do you like wearing sandals too?

Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you enjoy my post.
See you soon~

OOTD : Breeze in the Rain

Tuesday, February 10, 2015
Hi again, butters!
I'm here again to post an outfit post. It's only one post but I'm struggling as I'm writing this. Writing really needs a lot of thoughts, time, and will, eventhough there are only a few paragraphs here. Finally I've got all three with me now. Besides writing this post, choosing a title is also a hard work. Right then, please keep scrolling to see what I'm wearing in this post.

What I wore :
  • White top. I don't think this is a crop top but it's rather short for a regular blouse, the cloth was thick though. It's got cute flowery details at the lower side.
  • Blue mini skirt. The colour and the light cloth really gives off this breezy feel, balances the thick top.
  • White sandals. A cute pair of sandals that completes the light look.
  • Stag necklace and silver watch for accessories.
The day I wore this, which was a meetup with my gals at a Korean restaurant. It was a warm one but it was also pouring. So, I wasn't sure if I should wear it thick or thin. But, then guess I didn't really have to worry, because I spent most of the time indoor and in car. Although I got quite lots of mosquito bites for taking some photos outside the restaurant.
I only took a few OOTD photos, so here are some pics of the food I had with my friends hehe.

Thanks for visiting my blog. Leave comments and follow me to see more stuffs coming.
See you next post~

OOTD : Loose and Girly

Friday, January 30, 2015
Hello, again butters! Today I'm going to post an OOTD.
These pics were taken on the first week of January, but I only got the time to post it now T_T.
Check out the photos below!

What I wore :
  • Broken white lace blouse. Loose blouse with a see through sleeves which gives a lighter feel on the outfit. The flower details on the lace are really pretty and girly.
  • Big pleated midi skirt. It's pale green and has creme polkadot details which matches the blouse.
  • Straw hat. Makes you look more earthy.
  • Mint arm candy.
  • Creme flat shoes.

So, this outfit kinda has "mori girl" feels,  with less layering.
Mori style has neutral, soft, and earthy colours like broken white and pale green in my photos.
This clothing is also really comfortable as it's loose so you don't have to worry if your tummy is showing after a big meal, lol.
I hope this post inspires you. Thanks for visiting my blog.
Follow me and see you next post.

OOTD : Red Spots on Black

Monday, January 5, 2015
Hello, butters. Finally, I'm back after a year long hiatus. Well, I last posted on last November and its already January 2015, so it's technically one year, lol.
So, here's my first OOTD post of 2015.

I kept things simple by only wearing one accesory which was a wristwach, because my printed skirts already had the spotlight. When I tried to wear necklace to match  the outfit, it was just a turn off. So, yeah.

What I wore :
  • Black sweater
  • Black mini skirt wit red floral prints
  • Black creeper wedge sandals

There it is, my first post this year. I hope this inspires you. And, I hope I can keep posting more on this blog in 2015. That is my resolution. Thanks for visiting. Feel free to follow me and ask for follow back because I have lots of things to post (just have to find time for that).
See you on the next post!

OOTD : Fun with polka

Saturday, November 29, 2014

Hi, butters. It's weekend again, and I'll be posting an OOTD. Today's outfit keypoint is polkadots and peplum. Maybe I can call it a modern twist on a retro piece? So, if you're wondering on what to wear when hanging out with your friends or family or just by yourself keep scrolling :)

What I wore :
  • Black headband with white polkadots.
  • White peplum blouse with black polkadots. Somehow, I feel like this top gives off a retro feeling especially matched with the headband and my floating fringe. It kinda reminds me of 'Hoot' from Girls' Generation.
  • Olive green shorts.
  • Black clutch.
  • White sandals. I never wanted to own and wear this pair of Birkenstock-like sandals until I saw an episode from the Korean drama Master's Sun where the female lead character wore a similiar pair. I thought that it was quite cute and really comfortable to wear sandals like these sometimes. This pair is from a local brand.
If you notice, I never really write the brands I'm wearing because most of the times I don't wear branded items, so I don't bother writing them here. Besides, I think you don't need to wear brands to look stylish, instead wear your style to look stylish. Just wear whatever that you think is your personality or because you simply like it. This is a tip that I always hold on to, remember to wear them on the right time and the right place.

Thanks for visiting my blog. Follow for follow and leave comments.
I hope this post inspires you. Have a great weekend and see you next time :)

OOTD : Pretty in Floral

Saturday, November 15, 2014

Hi, butters! It's Saturday again, yet I still have classes to attend.
But it's alright, because today I'll be posting some ootd photos.
Don't forget to look good everyday, and best every weekend~
Keep scrolling~

What I wore :
  • Blue floral print dress. I designed this myself and I really love how it turned out. The design and the print matches each other making the dress very feminine. This dress is very wearable and the thin cloth makes it comfortable to wear on a hot day.
  • Floral print mary jane shoes. I chose a pair of floral shoes to match the dress. It's got a touch of magenta and adds more to the outfit's colour palette, it also makes the outfit looks more alive.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope this post inspires you!
Be pretty in floral and have a fun weekend~
See you soon :)

Last Holiday : Melbourne day 4-5 + OOTD

Sunday, October 12, 2014
Hello, butters. Long time no see, but here I am again to tell you more about my holiday in Melbourne. So there's gonna be two days on this post as always, but there's not much on day 4 as we decided to take a break that day.

Day 4 : Resting day

It was Sunday, so we went to church. It was a small church in the suburb, and it was exciting to attend an english mass at a church abroad. Although, I didn't quite understand the sermon, it was an interesting experience. After church, we spent the whole day relaxing at home.

Day 5 : South Yarra, Southbank, City

First thing first, before starting today's trip. Outfit of the day! And I took some pictures with my sister, so today's ootd is featuring my sister, haha.

What I wore :
  • Stag Necklace
  • Leopard blouse
  • Rubber skater skirt
  • Striped bag
  • Fisherman shoes

FYI, I like making weird faces.

Today, we went to Adriana Zumbo at Claremont st, South Yarra for a quick breakfast. The cakes looked really heavenly there, the pastries made me drool so much too. At last I fell for their Zonut which stands for Zumbo cronut and I ordered chai latte to accompany this loveable pastry.
The interior was unique. The walls were made of some kind of mirror and there was these neon lights read Adriana Zumbo. So, the mirror kinda gave off a futuristic(?) reflection of the lights which was really cool.

Colourful macarons! With plenty choices of flavors and they're quite cheap too.

Moving to their cakes specialties.

They look really wonderful and unique, but also quite pricey for a slice.

And, pastries! Love 'em so much, those shiny, and doff, and glittery pastries, lol. The pastries are quite cheap and they're filling too.

And, here are my breakfast. Zonut and chai latte.

The zonut was heavenly, because you get to tast 2 kinds of filling. On the left side was probably some vanilla cream and the right side was strawberry filling. I love them both. While for the chai latte, I think it lacked some chai (to my taste bud, though).

After the sweet brekkie, we walked our way to the southbank. I think this place is like a business complex, but there's also a shopping centre near it. We're going to DFO, a shopping centre that offers a variety of stuffs from stationary to fashion pieces with a nice price. Again, I didn't take many pictures there, because I enjoyed myself too much window shopping and a little shopping, lol. But, I did take some pictures at the business complex. The weather was too good to not enjoy the moment and take any pictures.

A couple of pictures I took at DFO.

After some quick shopping, we went to the city to sit for lunch. We chose a vietnam restaurant and ordered fried spring rolls and some phos.  Those spring rolls were really good, but I'm not really a fan of the pho, though.

Righ when we're about to finish our meal, guess what. We could see people running down the street from inside the restaurant, then I remembered that the day before, a friend told me that "Running Man" is coming to Melbourne. Quickly we paid for the food and went to check out what those people were running for. Then, after spending some minutes running and looking around without any ideas if it was really "Running Man", we stopped at this alley and look to the right, and this was what I found. Haha, I was like oh my god, oh my god. I was too excited to actually saw not just one but two kpop artists! They were too real! Although I'm not really a big fan of them but I enjoy watching "Running Man" and I really love Rain's singing and his acting in "Full House". And also this was the first time I met celebrities that I like! I was only 1 meter apart from them. Too bad I didn't speak Korean. Nevertheless meeting Kpop artists like this was quite exciting, with all the running and sweating, haha.

Okay, I think this is all for today. I hope you feel excited too, reading this post. Thanks for visiting my blog, and please look forward for the next post. Next holiday's post we're going to Gold Coast for several days. See you, butters.
