Etude House : Princess Happy Ending Snow White Apple Red Lips Lipstick

Wednesday, October 1, 2014

Hello, butters. I'm back again, and this time I'm reviewing a lipstick from Etude House. Princess Happy Ending Snow White Apple Red Lips. So, this lipstick is inspired from Disney princess which makes it one of some reasons on why i bought this. And other reason is, the packaging is very cute with apple, crown, castle patterns all over it. This Disney Princess line offers two different colours of lipstick which is red and sort of magenta purple. The red one is Snow White, while the magenta one is Belle. I chose Snow White, because I thought the Belle one looks almost like "the damned" from Topshop. Check out the review below ;)

Forgive me if I look messy in this review, because I was in a rush T_T
1. Before (with Etude House Lip Concealer); 2. Applied only in center (Indoor light);
3. Fully applied (Indoor light); 4. Fully applied (Outdoor light)
2.
3.
4.
Pros :
1. Glides easily and smoothly.
2. Pigmented.
3. Nice smell.
4. Long lasting and leaves a tint after eating.
5. Very moisturizing.

Cons :
1.None~

Overall, I love the texture, love the smell, love the colour. This lipstick is really nice and worth buying if you're looking for an affordable moisturizing red lipstick. The red colour looks a bit orange-y on my skin, but I still like it. It gives me a fresh and playful look and also brightens my skin. Although it appeared glossy at first, it eventually became sorta matte but not drying at all. You also might want to reapply the lipstick after eating, but in my case I didn't reapply because I love how it left a tint on my lips.

I hope you find this review helpful. As the days get more hectic in college, I will try to make a post every week. I'm really looking forward to holidays where I can post stuffs almost everyday, haha. Please, keep reading, follow, and leave comments.
Thanks for visiting and see you soon, butters.

Etude House : Dear Darling Tint No.4 Vampire Red

Monday, August 11, 2014

Hi again, butters! Today I will review about a lip tint from Etude House! It's the Dear Darling Tint in Vampire Red (No. 4). On lazy days, I just put on some powder on my face just to absorb those oils and then I'll wear a bold lip colour. It could be a tint or a lipstick, just as long as it is bold(and/or dark) I would wear it. Because the bold colour on your lips will draw attention only to your lips, which is good for lazy days when you don't feel like wearing mascara, eyeliner, foundation and whatsoever. This cheat will make you look like you're wearing a very sheer makeup, when you're actually not (or at least in my case it works that way) and also make you look really fresh and brightened your face (bye bye washed out and pale looks).

1. Before (with Etude House Lip Concealer); 2. Applied only in center (Indoor light); 3. Fully applied (Indoor light); 4. Fully applied (Outdoor light)
2.

3.

4.
Pros :
1. Pigmented.
2. Smells sweet like grape.
3. You can blend it with other lip colour to make it bolder.
4. Cheap.

Cons :
1. A bit hard to apply on upper lip.
2. Lasting time is not long enough.
3. Have to reapply after eating.

Overall, I love this lip tint. Love the colour, the texture, the smell, moreover for its cheap price. I'd love to buy this again and I recommend you to buy this. I hope this post is helpful, keep reading my blog. Feel free to ask me questions or leave comments.
Thanks for reading and see you next time :)

Etude House : Rosy Tint Lips No.7 Tea Rose

Wednesday, August 6, 2014

Hello, butters. Today, I will share a review on Etude House's Rosy Tint Lips in Tea Rose. I bought this colour before the rosy tint lips in Baby Peoni (you can find the review here). I have worn this tint at my previous ootd, check out this "Playful Pastel" post if you want. Keep reading my post below~

1. Before (with Etude House Lip Concealer); 2. Applied only in center (Indoor light); 3. Fully applied (Indoor light); 4. Fully applied (Outdoor light)
2.
3.
4.
Pros :
1. Velvet matte.
2. Long lasting.
3. Pigmented.
4. Not drying.

Cons :
1. Sticky feeling.
2. Bit hard to squeeze.

Soo, the conclusion is pretty much like the Baby Peoni rosy tint lips. I also love this Tea Rose tint for it creates a natural look. The colour is kinda pinky sometimes, and it looks orange-y at other times, so I'll say it's a peachy nude that goes well with any eye makeup (heavy or light). I definitely recommend you to buy this and I'd love to buy another colour.

That's all for my review today. I hope you have a great day.
Thank  for reading and see you soon.

Here's a bonus picture for you butters! Meet one of my dogs, Snowy~
He was watching me taking the outdoor photos. Haha.

Etude House : Rosy Tint Lips No. 5 Baby Peoni

Thursday, July 31, 2014

Good day, butters! Today I'm going to review Etude House Rosy Tint Lips in Baby Peoni.
It's a bright pink tint -but not neon or shocking- with a velvet finish.
The texture is a bit sticky and thick. It's got a really soft sponge as an applicator.

1. Before (with Etude House Lip Concealer); 2. Applied only in center (Indoor light); 3. Fully applied (Indoor light); 4. Fully applied (Outdoor light)
2.
3.
4.
You can also use it as an eyeshadow.
Just dab lightly around the outer corner of your eyes and blend with your pinky.
Pros :
1. Easy to apply on lips.
2. Long lasting.
3. Pigmented.
4. Smells nice.
5. Not drying.
6. Can be a great eyeshadow!

Cons :
1. The packaging is hard (gotta press harder when applying).
2. The sponge makes it a bit hard to blend on lips ( I had to dab dab and swiped a few times).

Overall, love love this product. I already have it in Tea Rose No. 7 and I love it! Particularly for the velvet finish. It's like matte but more luxurious (?) and soft. Most of the matte lip products I have, they're drying the lips, but this one doesn't. This colour also makes me feel really girly and lively. I'd love to buy more colours from this collection.

I hope this post inspires you. Thanks for reading.
See you soon!

Etude House : Color Lips Fit PK001

Monday, July 28, 2014

Outdoor light
I don't think this colour works well on me.

Indoor light

Front camera
I look really pale
Pros :
1. Really really pigmented.
2. Smells sweet like fruits.
3. Not drying.

Cons :
1. Not very long lasting.
2. Rubs off easily after eating.

PK001 is a pink-pale lip tint. I think it's the palest of all the colour choices. I love the packaging, the texture, and the fruity smell. It's just so smooth and matte, I just want to touch my lips everytime. This colour is pretty neon to me, making my skin look dull. I might want to try another colour from this collection, but definitely not this one.

Thanks for reading.
I hope you enjoy my post, see you soon butters.
