OOTD : Earth Colours

Wednesday, April 15, 2015
Hello, butters.
I'm back again with an OOTD post. Today I'm wearing my most favourite dress ever, I can't imagine living without this dress, lol. I don't remember when and where I actually bought this dress, but somehow It has become a must to-go item in my wardrobe. Keep scrolling~

What I wore :
  • Purple Knit Bolero. This outer is very wearable because the knits are loose, so i can wear it even on a hot day. It's comfortable and casual. It is also the right choice when I want to wear sleeveless pieces but not wanting to expose too much skin.
  • Floral Dress. Did I mention that this is my fave dress in the wardrobe? It kinda has this natural-earthy feels. Maybe a bit 'mori' too. This dress is really flowy and cute too.
  • White Sandals. The only pair of sandals in my possession. Sandals are to-go items when you want to achieve the lazy-casual look.
  • Mint Armcandy. A cute little thing to accessorize your outfit.
  • Black Slingbag. Really practical to wear, you can just put anything in it.
I love this kind of style, where I look so relaxed eventhough I'm actually dressed-up. Or maybe I was actually "dressing down to earth", as I picked neutral and less eye-catching colours. I enjoy wearing sandals these days, though I don't want to look sluggish in them, so I match 'em with this dress and there I got this calm and feminine 'semi' mori girl look.
What do you think about this outfit? Do you like wearing sandals too?

Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you enjoy my post.
See you soon~

OOTD : KPP Inspired ( Back to school?)

Friday, September 5, 2014

Butters! Today I will post an ootd inspired by KPP which stands for Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. She's probably the most bizarre Japanese idol but in a cute way. And by cute, I mean she's really really cute, just google her or peek at her instagram. Her look I'm going to imitate today is from her instagram, and I thought It's got this back to school kinda feel, so it's cool because you can wear this outfit to class. I also think that it is beach approved. Scroll down below to see how I recreate her look~

What I wore :
  • Fake bangs (is it obvious?). Sometimes when I watch KPP videos on youtube, It makes me want to cut my bangs but I keep reminding myself how I struggle to grow these long bangs I have now, so I eventually decided to buy a fake one.
  • White wayfarer. Mine has floral pattern that gives a summer-y touch.
  • Black dress from Factorie. A black dress is really wearable with any accessories. See here to wear it with different style.
  • Pastel backpack from Juice Ematic. Well, it's backpack, simply put everything you need in it and you're good to go. Very practical.
  • Pink jelly sandals from Sports Girl. This pair isn't the most comfortable choice if you need to catch a plane, or run really fast somewhere because it might scratch your feet. But for city tour, I find it comfortable enough, and it's also apropriate for a beach stroll because the jelly material sure won't get wet by the water. Just becareful for it might be slippery.
I want to apologize in advance if I don't post frequently in the future, because school is starting next week. But, I'll keep as much as I can to update. I still have this Melbourne trip I really want to share with you, so I guess please look forward to this Melbourne post. I hope today's post inspires you. Thanks for reading.
See you soon on the next post.

OOTD : The Wedding Guest (+ makeup!)

Sunday, August 10, 2014

Hello, butters! How are you today? This time, it's gonna be a special post, because there's gonna be outfit and makeup in one post.. Yay,,  So, I went to my friend's brother's wedding yesterday (get it? I have a friend, she's got a brother, and he got married) , and I will share about what I wore and my makeup to inspire you. Let's check out on my outfit first~

What I wore :
  • Knee-length dress.  The dress is sleeveless and cream-coloured, with V neck and A line style. It actually came up with a belt, but somehow I couldn't find it. So I grabbed a black chiffon ribbon to wear as a belt instead. The belt also makes the dress looks less boring for only having one colour.
  • Accessories. I wore some bracelets, the ones on the left hand are gold and on the right hand is bronze with red gems.
  • Clutch. I chose a gold clutch to match my accessories.
  • High heels. They're from Charles&Keith. Their colours are broken white and they matches my dress.

 My makeup :
  • Mascara, eyeshadows, and blush on from Benefit Glam Therefore I am makeup palette. Don't forget to curl your lashes after putting on mascara. I didn't wear fake eyelashes because I didn't want to look too much and I'm just a guest not the bride.
  • Winged eyes with felt tip liner from Nyx dual liner (find the review here).
  • I contoured my face with Nyx blush in Taupe.
  • I shaped my eyebrows with Etude House's eyebrow pencil.
  • I made gradient lips with Nyx matte lipstick in Sable and I put some Topshop lipstick in the damned on the center of my lips, then just blended them lightly with my finger.
  • Lastly, I got my hair done at the salon.

Are you inspired, now? I hope you dress glam and enjoy your party.
Thank you for reading, butters. Wait for the next post :)

OOTD : Choco Mint

Friday, August 8, 2014

Happy Friday, butters! The weekend is finally here again and I will share my ootd to inspire you.
Today's outfit is about neutral (chocolate/nude/brown - you decide what colour my top is, haha), and then there's this peplum detail, and mint straight skirt. Enjoy my photos~

What I wore :
  • Neutral coloured blouse. This blouse has a cute peplum detail layered with tulle. It has three quarter length sleeves which are a bit puffy at the ends. The soft brown colour and the canvas like texture create a cute natural look. I say, it also has this mori style feel.
  • Vintage necklace. Bronze-coloured with lock and key detail.
  • Coins bracelet. Bronze-coloured to match the necklace. Try to wear only one colour (ex: no eyecatching coloured gems) to avoid the -you-put-too-much-effort- look.
  • Silver watch. Silver gives a cool touch and it balances the bronze accesories.
  • Mint skirt. This is a knee-lentgh straight skirt, which means it ends at the knee and it is tight around the hips to the thighs but it is loose at the end. The skirt is the eyecatching part of the entire outfit for its bright mint colour.
  • Army green bag. The bag is from Longchamp. Army green or olive green is considered neutral so you can wear it with any colour.
  • Army green wedges. These wedges simply matched the bag.
I keep my makep soft and natural
There it is, the inspiration for your weekend style. Hope you find this helpful,
feel free to leave comments and questions for me~
Stay pretty and enjoy your weekend.
See you soon.

OOTD : Playful Pastel

Saturday, August 2, 2014

Today I'm going to post more ootd and it's pastel again. But this time, it's a different pastel of course. A more colourful pastel outfit i wore to a brunch with my friend. Everytime I go for a brunch with a friend of mine, it's not really a brunch but maybe it's more like an ootd session haha. We always get dressed up and bring a dslr and then take crazy amount of photos, probably like around 500 photos per meet up haha. You bet, we're just normal girls too. So, here we go to today's ootd.

What I wore :
  • Rainbow sweater. A gift from that friend of mine when she went to LA. This is from Almost Famous. It's really comfortable, the knit is quite thick so it will warm you in a cold weather.
  • Blue boho midi skirt. Which was my mom's. I chose this skirt to match my sweater.
  • Brown bag. Mom got this for me from a local store when she went to Bandung. It can hold lots of things and 3 parts which will help you organize your things better.
  • Black fisherman shoes. Or sandals or wedges or platform. Really comfortable to wear and I also wear it here. Check it out. I bought this pair from Santini store in Melbourne.
Please enjoy more photos of me, hehe.
I hope they bring inspiration to you.

Daydreaming of the food I'm about to eat.
Chocolate butter toast and soy milk. Yum
A slight look of my makeup
Thanks for reading my post, butters.
See you next post.
