OOTD : Earth Colours

Wednesday, April 15, 2015
Hello, butters.
I'm back again with an OOTD post. Today I'm wearing my most favourite dress ever, I can't imagine living without this dress, lol. I don't remember when and where I actually bought this dress, but somehow It has become a must to-go item in my wardrobe. Keep scrolling~

What I wore :
  • Purple Knit Bolero. This outer is very wearable because the knits are loose, so i can wear it even on a hot day. It's comfortable and casual. It is also the right choice when I want to wear sleeveless pieces but not wanting to expose too much skin.
  • Floral Dress. Did I mention that this is my fave dress in the wardrobe? It kinda has this natural-earthy feels. Maybe a bit 'mori' too. This dress is really flowy and cute too.
  • White Sandals. The only pair of sandals in my possession. Sandals are to-go items when you want to achieve the lazy-casual look.
  • Mint Armcandy. A cute little thing to accessorize your outfit.
  • Black Slingbag. Really practical to wear, you can just put anything in it.
I love this kind of style, where I look so relaxed eventhough I'm actually dressed-up. Or maybe I was actually "dressing down to earth", as I picked neutral and less eye-catching colours. I enjoy wearing sandals these days, though I don't want to look sluggish in them, so I match 'em with this dress and there I got this calm and feminine 'semi' mori girl look.
What do you think about this outfit? Do you like wearing sandals too?

Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you enjoy my post.
See you soon~

Haul : Gifts from My Sister

Tuesday, April 14, 2015
Hi, butters.
Been really long since I last posted. My mood was up and down, and it's been really busy with college stuffs. But, I finally made up my mind to post one now.
Today I want to give you a glance on the birthday presents my sister gave me. Though she is currently living abroad, she would keep the presents and give them to me when I visit her or vice versa. So, these things are my presents from the last three years.

1. Meow by Katy Perry, Eau de Perfume. I really love this because it smells sweet and also cute, but surely not nauseating. I've been wearing one spray everyday, trying not to overwear, right?

2. Chanel Rouge Coco Hydrating Creme Lip Colour No.5. Phew, what a long name. Loove this lip colour so much. The colour is very natural for daily wear. It's long lasting and very suitable if you spend the whole day in an air-conditioned room.

3. Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler. I don't curl my eyelash as often, so I'll say it's okay.

4. Heroine Make Impact Liquid Liner.  Judging from the packaging, it's a waterproof one as you can see this crying princess with her perfect thick makeup still intact. Gotta love this eyeliner. It glides very smoothly and also easy to use.

5. Heroine Make Mascara. Glam packaging just like the liner, but I only got to wear this once, so I don't really have much to say.  I'll say, It was a nice once.

6. Laneige White Plus Renew Tone Up Corrector. It has 40SPF which will really suit you if you work outdoor. I spent most of the day indoor, so I don't wear it often and my BBcream also has SPF already.

7. Calvin Klein Lipstick. I'm not sure what the colour was, but I'll make a review on this soon. The colour is Mesmerize, which is a vibrant pink-red. I'm not really into this colour though.

8. Benefit I'm Glam Therefore I am Gift Set. Love love love this makeup box. It's really practical. You get eyeshadows, blush, highlighter, lipgloss, and mascara in one box.

My sis also got me a crop top, but I forgot to put it in the photo. I already wore it for an OOTD post here. Check it out~
So, there they are, a quick haul post. I hope this post is fun to read. Do you wear the same thing as I do? Let me know what you think about them by leaving comments~
Thank you for visiting.

My Ideal Japan Winter Vacation - Liburan Musim Dingin Ideal di Jepang

Wednesday, February 25, 2015
Must visited country during holidays that's in the list? Japan! Among the countries I want to explore which are France, Korea, Australia, USA, UK and Japan, this cherry blossom country ranked first. Why? Obviously because I grew up with Japanese cartoons and comics or known as anime and manga. Vacation in Japan will surely be a very pleasant experience and not forgotten. Especially it will be more exciting in winter months, as there is no snow in Indonesia. I can imagine what I would do if  I got the opportunity for a vacation in Japan while it's snowing.

One place to visit is the onsen or traditional Japanese hot spring. Feel the cool hot bath while enjoying a snowy evening in the outdoor onsen, just sit back and relax in the indoor onsen, or why not try both to get different moods.

Shirahone (Outdoor) Onsen
Hirayunomori (Indoor) Onsen

Feeling refreshed, I'll usually be hungry . Eating a meal in winter will enhance the luxury and awesomeness. Imagine, tasting the chewy noodles while sipping hot savory light broth of shio ramen can keep me warm.

Setelah badan segar, biasanya perut jadi lapar.

We can also find Oden, which often enjoyed during the winter and is easily found in convenience stores. Probably a sort of what we call  'suki'  in Indonesia, hot soup with a variety of 'edible stuffs' such as boiled eggs, daikon (a type of radish), fish-cake , tofu and more. Just look at the picture below.

After a big meal, now's time for dessert with tea. Japan is famous for its green tea, so I'm really eager to join a tea ceremony. Aside from a formal one, enjoying a sip while eating mochi or cake in cafes should be in the list too.

Setelah makanan berat, sekarang saatnya dessert sambil minum teh.

Delicacies usually leaves distinctive impressions when we go abroad. But, I also have this habit to make a personal memory with songs during a trip. I'll certainly put Japanese songs in my mp3. Recentyl I'm obsessed with utaite, especially songs from Ito Kashitarou, Rib, Kano, and there are also other artists such as Ayumi Hamasaki, Kanon Wakeshima, and Hanae. No reason to worry about running out of  background musics on the road. I may not understand Japanese, but the tune is enough to tell the meaning and the singer's feeling. Sometimes I browse for the English lyrics, and they really have beautiful and touching meaning about romance even the sekai /world.

While snow's here, don't miss playing snowball fight and making snowman. It may sound cliche, but with more people joining it will be really fun. Capture every moment by taking pictures and selfies. I also want to take pictures while wearing a kimono in the middle of the snow. It's so gonna be a cool material for the social media.

Last but not least, step your foot on anime shops! It's not one identic stuff to do in winter, but hey we're talking about Japan here, so I guess this should be in the intinerary. You don't have to buy something, just looking around and take some pics is fun too. Certainly if I were there, I wouldn't forget getting a plush doll home, some keychains or phone straps of my favourite anime characters like Nyanko sensei from Natsume Yuujinchou, or other anime characters from Gintama.

Looks like something's missing from the list I've written above. Yup! Don't forget to ski at Gala Yuzawa~

Yup! Jangan lewatkan ski di Gala Yuzawa~

OOTD : Breeze in the Rain

Tuesday, February 10, 2015
Hi again, butters!
I'm here again to post an outfit post. It's only one post but I'm struggling as I'm writing this. Writing really needs a lot of thoughts, time, and will, eventhough there are only a few paragraphs here. Finally I've got all three with me now. Besides writing this post, choosing a title is also a hard work. Right then, please keep scrolling to see what I'm wearing in this post.

What I wore :
  • White top. I don't think this is a crop top but it's rather short for a regular blouse, the cloth was thick though. It's got cute flowery details at the lower side.
  • Blue mini skirt. The colour and the light cloth really gives off this breezy feel, balances the thick top.
  • White sandals. A cute pair of sandals that completes the light look.
  • Stag necklace and silver watch for accessories.
The day I wore this, which was a meetup with my gals at a Korean restaurant. It was a warm one but it was also pouring. So, I wasn't sure if I should wear it thick or thin. But, then guess I didn't really have to worry, because I spent most of the time indoor and in car. Although I got quite lots of mosquito bites for taking some photos outside the restaurant.
I only took a few OOTD photos, so here are some pics of the food I had with my friends hehe.

OOTD : Loose and Girly

Friday, January 30, 2015
Hello, again butters! Today I'm going to post an OOTD.
These pics were taken on the first week of January, but I only got the time to post it now T_T.
Check out the photos below!

What I wore :
  • Broken white lace blouse. Loose blouse with a see through sleeves which gives a lighter feel on the outfit. The flower details on the lace are really pretty and girly.
  • Big pleated midi skirt. It's pale green and has creme polkadot details which matches the blouse.
  • Straw hat. Makes you look more earthy.
  • Mint arm candy.
  • Creme flat shoes.

So, this outfit kinda has "mori girl" feels,  with less layering.
Mori style has neutral, soft, and earthy colours like broken white and pale green in my photos.
This clothing is also really comfortable as it's loose so you don't have to worry if your tummy is showing after a big meal, lol.
I hope this post inspires you. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Last Holiday : Melbourne day 7/Gold Coast day 2

Friday, January 23, 2015
It's the second day at Gold Coast, and we spend half day playing with water at Wet and Wild and the remaining day we had some fun at Warner Bros Movie World. Enjoy these photos.

The first thing to do after waking up that morning was to enjoy the soft blanket at the hotel and the scenery outside my room.

And never forget to take selfie in the morning,

I didn't take many photos today, because I'm too caught up in the moments. I also couldn't have my camera and phone around, cause some rides forbid them and also waters..
So, here's what I had for lunch at Wet and Wild. Burger, pizza and chips and frozen cola, but I only took this photo. It tasted alright, just standard for theme park like this.

Enjoying quick lunch with my sis. My bro took the photo.

Never forget to take photos and update! lol

After some dips in the water, we took a short walk to WB Movie World. Though, it might be a long walk if you're in some not so comfortable footwear like I was.

There's a souvenir shop here, so don't forget to grab something for your niece or nephews or anyone who loves WB on your way out. If everyone in your group are getting in the rides, you'd have to rent a one day locker to keep your things.

The Superman ride was the most exciting one, and if you're coming here you should try this one first. It was just really fun. First, I was like just sitting there in a car, chillin', and next I was like whoosh! I was flying, like literally, but of course not literally, lol.

There's also the Green Lantern ride, I felt like throwing up after the ride, moreover because I got in it after the Batman ride. It was a horrible one, but I couldn't miss any ride because it's gonna be a waste of the ticket then. haha

Don't forget to see the parade too every afternoon, maybe around 3pm, it was really fun because I got to shake hands with Scooby Doo, lol. I know they're only people in some really cute and cool costumes, but still... right?

And, It's time to come back to the hotel. We went for a walk, looking for some tasty stuffs to fill our stomach. Then, we found a gelato bar, lovely! They were vanilla and mint. You just couldn't resist ice cream in such a warm weather.

There was an "All you can eat" restaurant nearby, but we didn't really want to have unlemeted meat, vegetables and rice. No, it's not a typo. They say it was unlemeted....
And, what would be of us if we ate unlimited meat, no thanks, I already gained so much that time, haha.

We, finally stopped at a ramen bar. The name was Hakataya Ramen and they were really filling, because you can have 1 extra noodle for free for each person! That was really cool. I had the original ramen which was around $10. The ramen tasted so good. Just remember not to drink up all the soup if you want to have extra noodle.

This was the spicy one. I prefer the one with the clearer soup.

After we finished the satisfying last dinner at Surfers Paradise, we went back to our hotel to relax in the hot pool, then went to sleep.

Thanks for reading my holiday story, I hope you enjoy this.
